Ingredients, Nutritional Information, Allergens

Our packaging complies with the various regulations in force on labelling and food advertising.

For a juice: It is not necessary for all the fruits/vegetables on the list of ingredients to be depicted on the packaging. We show the ones that are most characteristic of the product’s flavour. On the front of our packaging there is also the mention that the product is a blend of several juices.

For a drink or cocktail: The image evokes the flavour of the product, but the fruit(s) or vegetable(s) shown are not necessarily present on the list of ingredients. In this case, the mention of natural or artificial flavours is on the front of the packaging.

Special washing and rinsing measures are applied after packaging a product containing allergenic ingredients so as to remove all traces from the production line. In addition, suppliers are required to provide a letter of guarantee about the presence/absence of allergens in the ingredients. Our company has a very strict policy in this regard.

In general, our products do not contain GMOs. However, if the list of ingredients includes the words “sugar/glucose-fructose” and “corn starch”, the ingredients may have been manufactured with or in contact with GMO corn.

From a chemical standpoint, natural flavours and artificial flavours contain roughly the same molecules. The difference is in the method of preparation and the source of ingredients used to prepare the flavouring. For example, natural peach flavouring is a peach extract, whereas artificial peach flavouring is chemically synthesized based on molecules found in the natural flavour. Artificial flavouring is an imitation of the natural flavour.

Give that each flavour is different, they may or may not contain alcohol. Ethyl alcohol may be present at very low levels in the finished product due to the fermentation of corn starch used.

Under current legislation, manufacturers are exempt from specifying the natural flavours used in the product in the list of ingredients.

Vitamin C is naturally present in fruit. The amount varies from one fruit to another, which is why the values in the Nutrition Facts table vary depending on the flavours.

Vitamin C added: Where regulations permit, we can add vitamin C. It is included in the list of ingredients and “Vitamin C added” appears on the front of the package.

Juices are naturally rich in certain minerals. We always choose the best fruits and vegetables in order to proudly say that they are naturally high in certain elements. For example, because oranges are naturally high in potassium, the more orange juice a juice contains, the higher its potassium content.

The water used in production comes from various municipal sources where our plants are located. At the plant entrance, the water is filtered through activated charcoal to remove all traces of residual chlorine. At the same time, this operation enables us to obtain perfectly flavourless water (odourless, colourless, and tasteless).

No. Because most of our products undergo heat treatment (pasteurization), preservatives are not necessary. For this reason we advise consumers to preferably use the product within 10 days after opening the container and, once open, to store it in the refrigerator.

Fruits contain natural sugars. For this reason the quantities of sugar and carbohydrates are listed in the Nutrition Facts table on our packaging. The term “Natural fruit sugars” is moreover written under the Nutrition Facts table.

Shelf life and consumption

Chilled products: The “best before” date is on every package. It is displayed in a regulated format including the year, month, and day.

Unrefrigerated products (sold on the shelf): The package is stamped with an ink jet code indicating the date before which the product should be consumed to get the maximum benefit from its qualities. For example, 20230410 means April 10, 2022.

In order for you to fully enjoy the taste, it is preferable to use the product within 10 days after opening the container, and to store it in the refrigerator.

Our small single-serve packs (200 mL) can be frozen. They should however be well shaken before drinking.
