Apple Donuts

For the donuts
1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup Greek yogurt

Apple Topping
2 apples, diced
1 ½ tbsp. salted butter
3 tbsp. Allen’s apple juice
1 tsp. apple pie spice
1 tbsp. flourDirectives


  1. Apple filling

    Peel and dice the apples.

  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine butter and apple juice.

  3. Add apples and spices, mix well, cover and cook until apples are soft.

  4. Add flour, mix and cook for about 1 minute.

  5. Set aside.

  6. Doughnuts

    Preheat oven to 350F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  7. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients

  8. Form small balls of dough, making sure to fill them with a small amount of filling.

  9. Space the balls on the baking sheet and bake for about 25 minutes.
